As we celebrate our 90-year history, we’ve been reflecting with our clients and past Wendt employees on why they like working with Wendt. But our current employees have something to say about our company, as well. We understand that we stand on the shoulders of those before us when it comes to how we got here. It is also exciting to know that just as prior Wendt employees built our company to what it is today, we are stitches in the quilt that is Wendt history moving forward.

“My career at Wendt has been (and still is!) rewarding, exciting, challenging and, at times, nerve-racking! I’ve loved every minute of it! I owe my personal feelings of career satisfaction and success to Wendt as a value-driven company, as well as to my fellow employees and shareholders both past and present.”
“I’m so proud to be part of a company with such deep roots in Montana. Wendt’s history is the foundation we build on each and every day – using the expertise of the present to create a successful future for Wendt, our team, our clients, and more!”
“Road trips and retreats around the state, frightfully awesome Halloween shindigs, office pranks that often involve Augustus the dog, getting to work with some of the best clients and helping create and share their messages, as well as learning every day from the incredible role models we have as leaders in the agency – these are all reasons why I am grateful to be a part of Wendt’s history and future. The common thread in all my Wendt memories is the people by my side and the lifelong friendships I have developed. We employ some kick-ass people who are not only extremely talented, but also a lot of fun to be around! Congratulations Wendt on 90 years and cheers to many more!”
“Wendt has provided me the ability to excel further in my career than I ever imagined. And, it all started with people who saw my potential, believed in me, and fostered my growth. Wendt is more than my job, it is my home away from home, and my co-workers are my family away from family. Wendt is a special place. I have so many cherished memories from my time at Wendt, it is hard to pick my favorites. A few that stand out are:
“A Wendt retreat at Seeley Lake. There were so many laughs and memories made. We had a golf tournament that included a cart decorated like a pirate ship captained by a ‘Drink Wench’ who was handing out Jell-O shots. We also enjoyed an impromptu campfire under the Montana stars.
“After many sleepless nights and hours upon hours of true teamwork on an intense RFP, the Wendt team absolutely nailed our presentation. While we didn’t win the business that day, I remember the rewarding feeling of what we had accomplished together as a team on a common mission.”
“I always imagined what it would be like working at an advertising agency like on ‘Bewitched.’ Growing up in Great Falls, my neighbor was the former president of Wendt, Stan Meyer. Stan talked to me about advertising, and I decided it was my career goal to work at an advertising agency. I ventured out to various jobs, two college degrees, and ended up back in Great Falls at Wendt.”
“Happy anniversary, Wendt! Congratulations on 90 years of setting the standard for exemplary advertising and PR! Wendt is so much more than an agency to me. There is the Wendt that nurtures staff by fostering personal and professional growth that gives us a leading edge when strategizing for our clients’ success. And the Wendt that spontaneously plans Big Fat Peanut Butter Blowout Day to commemorate National Peanut Butter Day. Or stages a company-wide tricycle race to pay homage to the Tour de France. I am grateful to be a part of this amazing team that pushes me every day to swing for the fences.”
“I started working at Wendt because it promised to be a creative atmosphere, which it has been, nonstop, since I joined the agency in 1997! It’s been so interesting and fun to witness all the different creative processes that this agency experiences, depending on the client, their focus, the time of year, their audience, and so on. I’m so glad to be here!”
“I am so proud to work for a company with such a long-standing history. I especially love that they have empowered women and put them into positions of leadership since the beginning. I feel lucky to be a part of something big, to be a part of something that has made a difference in Montana for 90 years. Happy anniversary, Wendt!”
“The top 5 reasons I love working at Wendt: 1. Amazing colleagues 2. Wonderful clients who creatively challenge us. 3. An open work environment that encourages communication. 4. A real sense of teamwork from start to finish on every job. 5. Delicious coffee.”
“From the moment I began at The Wendt Agency, the passion of everyone who works here was obvious. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to work with so many talented individuals who come together to create success for the whole team. And in that success and talent is reverence for the past and an excitement for the future.”
“The best way for me to describe my experience (thus far) here at Wendt is how much of a positive impact that our company culture has had on me personally. I find it very important to work within an open work environment, where everyone’s voice matters. We all share the same goals, have strong work ethics, and strive to be to best at what we do. As an added bonus, Wendt is a fun place to work at! I enjoy working next to a great number of talented, creative individuals and being part of Montana’s longest-standing advertising and marketing agency. Cheers to 90 years of Wendt’s success!”
“I was thrilled to be offered the social media specialist position at Wendt. I was blown away by the team, culture, office, and traditions, and everything continues to exceed my wildest expectations. I feel truly privileged to learn from such strong female role models in the industry, work in a fun environment on amazing projects, and be a part this incredible agency.”
