95 and Feeling Alive - The Wendt Agency

95 and Feeling Alive

95 and Feeling Alive

The roaring 20s, the Great Depression, the arrest of Al Capone, the marketing of sliced bread. 1929 holds a lot of history, some big some small, but none as integral to our story as the formal introduction of a small but resilient Montana marketing firm, Bird & Wendt Advertising. Or as we’ve all come to know and love – The Wendt Agency.

What started as a small dream come true during some of America’s toughest times has evolved into a multi-regional advertising agency still standing strong in downtown Great Falls. The Wendt Agency has grown from a two-man shop into a passionate team of 17 … 11 dogs, 7 cats, 2 snails, and 1 stuffed mascot. We’ve shifted from advertising Montana’s “modern roads” to showcasing its beauty in vivid color. We’ve moved buildings (four times), got our very own Macintosh, and even changed our logo. And yet it’s not our current success that defines us, but rather the nine and half decades that came before us.

And so today, we invite you to link arms and join our team in celebrating 95 years of marketing bliss! Grab your 1940s bottle of Great Falls Select beer, jump on the back of a fish like all good fishermen did in the 30s, and give yourself plenty of room to stretch in majestic Montana – because as far as we’re concerned, we’re just getting started.

IF THE WALLS COULD TALK

They would certainly tell of the countless late hours, big ideas, laughs, and team celebrations that have been a part of our culture since the beginning.

ADS THAT STAND THE TEST OF TIME

Okay, so maybe they don’t ALL stand the test of time, but they do certainly go down in history (and the Wendt vault)!

MEMORIES THROUGH THE DECADES

Wendt is proud to have hired more than 100 employees – each as talented as the next. We are trendsetters, innovators, and history makers (and we have a lot of fun).
