A Note from our President: Celebrating 95 Years of Creativity

As we close the chapter of 2024, we find ourselves reflecting on the incredible milestone of 95 years in business. 2024 was a year of creativity, growth, and connection. It was a year of celebrating a significant milestone in our agency’s history while at the same time, a year of innovating and looking to the future.

HONORING THE PAST
Throughout the year, we spent connected time together honoring and celebrating our agency’s roots. From bulletin boards filled with photographs spanning decades of team members to a Roaring 20’s festive and fabulous soiree, we honored and found inspiration in our rich history. A rich history of visionary leaders, incredibly talented team members, creative excellence, and strong client partnerships.

INNOVATION IN THE PRESENT
This past year, we added to our client portfolio while also collaborating with existing clients that have been partners of the agency for over 30 years. We are proactive in an ever-changing environment, embracing new tools and pushing creative boundaries, always working to create success for our partners and ourselves.  A few highlights from 2024 include:

  • Storytelling through video…lots of video! We told stories, built strong emotional connections, and resonated deeply with our target audiences.

  • Building and reshaping brands: 2024 was a year of launching new brands and refreshing existing ones. From travel and tourism to banking to healthcare, our team has spent hundreds of hours pouring their hearts and talent into brand and image development for our clients.

  • Investing in our team: Wendt’s culture of creativity and collaboration is always at the heart of our success. 2024 brought two new team members – Trista Hillman and Dallas Miller, one new Wendt shareholder, Caitlin Crumley, plus a day for all 16 of us together floating the Mighty Mo.

LOOKING AHEAD
As the advertising industry continues to change at a rapid pace, at Wendt we are driven to advance, push, and evolve. When you have been in this industry for nearly a century, staying idle is not an option. We will continue to invest in our team, build meaningful partnerships with our clients, and create impactful work. As we closed out our 95th year and enter into a new one, we are more inspired than ever to be the best we can be.

Fostering Workplace Fun: Q&A with our Administrative Coordinator

Chicken suits, patio hangs, the occasional corn hole tournament—behind Wendt’s 96 years of excellence is a culture that values joy just as much as it does hard work. And few embody that spirit better than our administrative coordinator (and resident Bob Ross impressionist), Dallas. While her task load is a balancing act across our accounting, media, and production departments, where she really shines is bringing the fun (and a spontaneous dance party) to all the moments in between. From staying organized to keeping things light, Dallas is breaking down the heart, humor, and hustle behind her day-to-day.
